At the end of this presentation, Community Health Workers will:
- Understand the basis of the Are You Doing Enough NM? campaign
- Be knowledgeable of the effects of Secondhand Smoke (SHS) on people and the environment
- Know the information and resources available to raise awareness of and support the Are You Doing Enough NM? campaign

New Mexico Nicotine Addiction Services & Resources

This presentation is designed to educate CHWs on the New Mexico Addiction Treatment Services and Resources developed by the New Mexico Department of Health’s Tobacco Use Prevention and Control Program.

At the end of this presentation, CHWs will:
1. Understand the impact of tobacco physically and economically
2. Understand the resources available to individuals who want to quit smoking
3. Understand the training resources that are available for health professionals
4. Understand how CHWs play an important role in tobacco treatment and prevention
